They are devoted to faith, family and have the cultural values of respect for one's elders and persons of education and authority. They also have a tradtion of service to their country with a remarkable number of Medal of Honor recipients. This is what would make them excellent Republicans. But most Latinos are not Republicans. Latinos are also the majority ethnic group in all of the new world, (that's why its called Latin America!) except the USA and Canada. In America, Latinos are now the largest minority and their votes deeply influenced the last three elections. The Latino vote and; therefore, their opinion can no longer be ignored.
